BioShock And Borderlands Games Are Coming To Nintendo Switch

This is a good time to be a Nintendo fan. Today, we learned a lot about the future of the Switch thanks to a Nintendo Direct Mini Presentation. The presentation revealed all the cool new games that are coming to their platform. We also learned more about Pokémon Sword and Shield along with information about future events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You can watch the entire presentation below, which is around 30 minutes long.

2K Games is porting some of their most famous IP to Nintendo Switch. All the titles mentioned below will launch on the platform on May 29.

  • Borderlands Legacy Collection – This collection contains the first two Borderlands game and the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
  • BioShock Remastered
  • Bioshock 2 Remastered
  • BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition (The base game and two Burial At Sea Expansion Packs)
  • BioShock Collection – This collection will have every BioShock game ever released.
  • XCOM 2 Collection – It consists of XCOM 2 along with four DLC packs and War of the Chosen Expansion pack.

These are some great games that Switch is getting, I am personally most interested in the BioShock collection.

That’s not all, though. One of the best racing games, aka Burnout Paradise Remastered, will also launch on Switch sometime in 2020. Another great title, Catherine: Full Body, is also getting a Switch port and will be available on July 9.

Nintendo Switch is hands down the best handheld platform out there, with their game library becoming even more massive seemingly every week. The days where only small games were available on Nintendo devices are long gone. Some of the biggest AAA games like The Witcher 3 and Doom (2016) are also playable on Switch. Even Doom Eternal is confirmed for Switch and will drop sometime in the future. How are they going to make a game like that run on such a small platform? I have no freaking idea.

So what do you think? Are you interested in these titles? Have you played any of these games on other platforms? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
