Next week, it’s August, and that means a new set of activities in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. As usual, expect the Brilliant and Adversaries events. But there are more events on the horizon.

Now before we go into what August has to offer, there’s a new event happening: the 1920s Wizarding World Convergence. This is one of the two such events beginning August 7. Read more about it here.

The second 1920s Wizarding World Convergence event is on August 18. It unlocks special Portmanteaus and features a new 1920s Registry Page.

For August, Community Day is the 21st and it’s all about joke products. You know what that means right? Prepare to encounter Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes Traces. Players can also earn guaranteed drops from Forest Chamber IV and above to prestige their page.

New Update

A new update dropped today in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. One of the new things players can expect is an additional Daily Task that consists of a sponsored video. Not to worry though since this one is completely optional and won’t prevent players from collecting the Daily Task completion reward.

Other changes arriving with the 2.18.0 update are:

  • Beam colors on the map have been adjusted to help differentiate between Emergency, Severe, Very High, and High Traces.
  • A new icon has been added to enable the use of Potions from the Map.
  • Baruffio’s Brain Elixir can now be used after a Trace or Combat has begun.
  • Players can now select more than one potion at a time during a Trace or Combat Encounter.

So are you ready for August?
