Gearbox Publishing, the publishing arm of industry-giant Gearbox Software, has just announced that co-op sandbox space adventure Astroneer will be coming to PS4. Astroneer is already available on PC and Xbox One, but will launch for PS4 on November 15.

The PlayStation 4 Edition of Astroneer will be available both digitally and physically, according to Gearbox. Set in the 25th Century, the game revolves around intergalactic discoveries with players working together to find new planets, establish bases of operations, and discover new forms of matter and life while thriving in harsh, hazardous, and sometimes hostile environments.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on Astroneer for PS4, pre-orders are available starting today. Players who pre-order the game get an exclusive PS4 theme as a bonus. However, pre-order or not, the PS4 edition of Astroneer will grant players an exclusive space suit for their characters.

Astroneer features a lot of fun and unique gameplay elements and mechanics. Whether you’re playing solo or co-op with up to four other players online, Astroneer tasks you with survival and exploration. Reshape terrain and bend matter to your will, build bases and vehicles to aid in your mission, find rare materials, amass knowledge needed to make startling discoveries, and uncover the mysteries of the universe.

Gearbox has taken quite an interest in independent game developers on Steam lately, with Astroneer marking its most recent partnership. Although developer System Era Softworks probably isn’t complaining, especially after the huge success enjoyed by Hopoo Games after partnering up with Gearbox for Risk of Rain 2.
