With Assassin's Creed Valhalla nearing its launch, Ubisoft uploaded a new story trailer for the game, giving us an idea of what Eivor's journey is all about. Of course, Assassin's Creed games feature the underlying conflict between Assassins and the Templar Order, but fans also take great interest in the protagonist's personal journey. And the new trailer gives a brief overview of Eivor's quest to find shelter on the lands of England.
The trailer also gives us a first look at Eivor's brother Sigurd, who dreams of invading the lands of England and establishing a settlement for his people. Eivor is also warned that England is a land of rulers who will make the Assassin's job tough. Eivor seems to be determined in going against any forces standing against his/her people.
Fans do have a general idea as to what Assassin's Creed Valhalla's adventure entails. Previous gameplay trailers have shown the scale of the game's map, along with activities like raiding, flyting, mini parkour missions, and of course, petting cats.
The trailer also shows Eivor accepting the hidden blade from the Assassin brotherhood, but it is unclear whether this happens in Norway or England. I assume that Eivor will begin their journey to find a new homestead in England, but they might soon learn of the Templars who are responsible for the conflict between the Kingdoms of England. This is when Eivor will meet the Assassins, or it could be the other way around. Well, it's just my assumptions and we should learn more about Valhalla's plot as the launch day nears.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is releasing on November 10 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. The PS5 version will release on November 12.
