Apex Legends Season 6 introduced a ton of new content to the popular free-to-play Battle Royale, and now there are new leaks claiming that there's a lot more to come. Season 6 itself introduced the brand new legend Rampart to the game, who brings defensive amp shields and the powerful minigun Shiela to keep aggressive attackers at bay. Additionally, Apex Legends also received the energy-based Volt SMG. The World's Edge map also witnessed massive changes and an all-new crafting system was introduced. Now, some dataminers have discovered that ground emotes could also be introduced in the future.

Emotes have become quite popular on many online games like Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and more. However, Apex Legends only has skydiving emotes, which were introduced in Season 2. So far, this has been the only way of expressing oneself on the battlefield, and once you touch the ground, you can't emote anymore.

Recent leaks suggest that ground emotes are currently in development for the popular Battle Royale. The information was leaked by noted leakers Shrugtal and Biast12. Shrugtal managed to capture a screenshot from a recent developer stream, which showcases a brand-new emote icon next to the skydive emote icon.

Biast12, on the other hand, shared a detailed Mirage emote animation, where Mirage's hologram mimics him and gives him a high-five. This emote seems to be a ground emote. Biast12 also pointed out that this animation was called "stand_emote" in the animation files.

Now, this isn't all that Shrugtal and Biast12 were able to datamine. According to them, Season 6 will also be seeing a new skin for Loba and new weapon skins. It is also rumored that Shadowfall will be returning this Halloween. This year's Shadowfall is said to be called Shadow Royale. However, all of this is unofficial info as of right now, so we ask you to take this all with a grain of salt.
