Apex Legends doesn't fail at surprising its fans, and this time around the free-to-play Battle Royale shooter is introducing the Soirée Arcade Event. The event doesn't have one, two, or three modes, but seven different fancy modes! The event will kick off on January 14 and run until January 28. Here's the official trailer:

Watching the trailer, one can gather that the limited-time event has something to do with outfits or uniforms for the Legends. This also means you'll have plenty of cosmetics to spend your Apex Coins on. In the trailer, Pathfinder is seen donning a slick outfit that resembles the robots from Doctor Who, but with a golden mustache. Bangalore is seen adorning an Egyptian-esque outfit, and Bloodhound looks too precious in an all gold and teal outfit.

Players will be able to buy a mix of themed and legendary cosmetics for just $5 and the care loot pool will consist of six new legendary skins.

Now, let's get to the meat of the matter - the seven modes. The seven modes coming with the Grand Soirée Arcade Event will rotate every two days. The modes include the Armed and Dangerous mode, which has previously appeared in the game, along with some game modes are absolutely brand-new. Each of these modes is going to come with challenges and completing them will reward you with 1,000 Apex Points. Here is the grand list:

  • Gold Rush Duos (January 14): Duos, but you play with legendary gold weapons only.
  • Live. Die. Live (January 16): Allows for automatic respawn with teammates at the next ring.
  • Third Person Mode (January 18): The name speaks for itself.
  • Always Be Closing (January 20): A ring that closes pretty fast.
  • Armed and Dangerous on World's Edge (January 22): Shotguns and snipers with limited armor
  • Kings Canyon After Dark (January 24): The dark version of King's Canyon.
  • Dummies Big Day (January 26): Battle the firing range dummies.

Just when you think that you have played enough Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment brings brand new additions to the game and keeps the Battle Royale spirit flowing.
