If you've been out of town for the holidays and haven't had the chance to give the Apex Legends holiday event a shot, there's still time. Hosted by Mirage on none other than the custom party boat the Mirage Voyage, the Holo-Day Bash is still happening and ends on January 7. In this event, players get to try out a new limited-time mode and get a chance to earn exclusive skins, badges, and even music packs.
Limited Time Mode
In World's Edge, three squads fight to capture the train as it moves from one station to another. However, for the Winter Express LTM, the train's path has a smaller radius so players are never too far from the action. The first squad to get three captures wins.
That's not all this LTM has to offer. There's no looting needed since each Legend comes with a custom and pre-determined loadout, which also rotates daily. In addition, players that are eliminated respawn each round and can select a different Legend to play mid-match.
Event Challenges and Rewards
As with any event, this one has its own challenges and rewards. Here's what's in store if you do get the chance to be part of the biggest celebration in the Outlands:

Town Takeover
Mirage has moved the Mirage Voyage to World's Edge and invited everyone to the holiday event of the 28th century. It's time to bring your favorite firearm and be prepared to experience a side of Mirage that people haven't seen before.
Event Limited Premium Cosmetics
The event also brings with it another set of 24 themed and limited-time cosmetics. All of the 24 items are going to be available through direct purchase, either with Crafting Metals or Apex Coins. These can also be obtained via the Event Apex Packs until the event ends. Each Event Pack is going to have one event item, along with two non-event items, at these drop rates:

- 50% Event Epic
- 50% Event Legendary
- 1 Non-Event Item:
- 70% Rare
- 20% Epic
- 10% Legendary
- 1 Non-Event Item:
- 70% Rare
- 20% Epic
- 10% Legendary
Non-Event items include Weapon Skins, Legend Skins, Legend Finishers, Banner Frames, Banner Poses, Banner Stat Trackers, Intro Quips, Kills Quips, Gun Charms, and Crafting Metals.
For players who manage to unlock all of the 24 Holo-Day Bash Collection Pack Items during the event, they get an extra item unlock for free: the Pathfinder Heirloom set. There isn't much reason to worry if you don't manage to complete your collection during the event. Once the event ends, the Pathfinder Heirloom set is going to be available as an Apex Pack bonus.
