We look at three arenas and how to solve them. BioWare

Anthem's Cataclysm event introduced new content to the game. Scattered all throughout the world are arenas. When you enter an arena, you are given objectives to complete. Completing your objectives results in your score multiplier increasing and allows you to get even more points. It is important to have a strategy when entering an arena.

In today's guide we look at three of these arenas.

Britaheim

Located in the Hope Shattered District, the trick behind this arena is to look underneath the surface. The objective of this arena is to collect five echoes. In order to get them, you need to deactive that shields that protect them. To do that, you need to follow the cables beginning from the echo to find the pressure plate and trigger it.

The fifth echo is inside a final room and you need to unlock it first. What you need to do is go the front of the gate and place two echoes in the receptacles. Once you get inside the room, the fifth echo then becomes visible, which is of course behind another shield. You need to place the two remaining echoes you have in the room in order to access it.

Now it is important to keep in mind that the echoes have to be retrieved in a specific order. Otherwise you're going to be trapped in the room. You first need to get all the echoes that are in the room. After that you then get to the ones you placed in the gate. Once that is done, you and your squad have to place them in the center of the arena to destroy the Shaper Emitter.

Ring of Magnus

This arena can be found in the Approach District. What you need to do to solve this one is to recall the puzzles that you managed to complete in the Sunken Cell stronghold.

We're not going to sugarcoat it. Freelancers are going to have their hands full in this one. This is because they need to interact with each of the rods needed to take out the Emitter while at the same time fending off Dominion enemies attacking them. What you need to do is make sure that you and your squad find the right mix of speed and teamwork.

To know if you're making any progress, you need to look at the Shaper Emitter platform. Green means that the rod has been activated while red tells it's still in a deactivated state. Remember time is of the essence here. If you take too long to interact, the rods start to rise from the ground and force you to begin all over again.

However, once you complete all the rods, the field that protects the Emitter falls. This then allows players to destroy it and complete the arena. If you can do all of this in under 55 seconds, you get the chance to fight Magnus. Defeating this Valkyrie gets you extra points.

Vara

You need to go to Echoes' Heart to complete this arena. You may need to take out the rift to get things rolling.

To get the most of this arena, you need to make use of the environment in order to steer clear of Vara's attacks. Let's say she turns the floor to lava. You'll notice that there are pillars surrounding her so you need to head for the tops. However, don't be too complacent. You may not be harmed by the lava, but it doesn't mean that she will just stand there and take your attacks. Always be on the move in order to avoid her oncoming attacks. To deliver the most damage, focus on Vara's upper body and head. When you get an opening, be sure to make the most out of it.

There is an attack you need to look out for though. It's her World on Fire attack. When she releases this attack, you and your teammates have to go for the glowing circle located in the middle if you want a chance of surviving. If any of your teammates are unable to make it, wait for the fiery effect to dissipate and then revive them as quickly as you can.

Hopefully this guide is enough to give you a good start. Look out for more of our guides as we discuss more maps and how beat the arenas.
