An Anime Based on the Guilty Gear Series is in Development

Arc System Works America announced that it has partnered with Sanzigen Studios for an anime adaptation of the Guilty Gear fighting video game series. The show is going to be titled as "Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers."

Sanzigen Studios is the same one that produced the "Find Your Way" music video for protagonist Sol Badguy. The studio has been responsible for various show like D4DJ First Mix and Black Rock Shooter, among others.

Behind the Scenes

Going back to the Guilty Gear anime, Sanzigen is producing it while serving as director is none other than Shigeru Morikawa, who's known for "Argonavis the Movie: Axia." Other individuals revealed to be involved with this project include Guilty Gear writer Norimitsu Kaihō. Then there's Seiji Mizushima (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Fullmetal Alchemist) who's being brought in a associate producer.

Anime Expo

The anime series is also headed to Anime Expo 2024, which is taking place in Los Angeles from July 4 to July 7. Arc System Works revealed that they'll have a "Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers - Special Event" panel on July 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. at the Anime Expoe Main Events Hall. Panelists include Norimitsu Kaiho, Seiji Mizushima, and Ken Miyauchi (Guilty Gear -Strive- producer). During the panel fans get to have a first look at the trailer as well as some behind-the-scenes information.

Those able to attend also get the chance to receive a Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers poster.
