There are many reasons why you need to pick up Control and experience its ultimate gameplay and visual fidelity. The game draws its inspiration from literature like The Southern Reach Trilogy. Control has to be Remedy's best game since Max Payne 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Although Rockstar Games takes their time when creating games, the end product always sets the bar high for all developers out there. This is true for GTA V and especially for Red Dead Redemption 2. This game is downright gorgeous and words aren't just enough to explain how I feel about. With that said, you truly need to experience Red Dead Redemption 2 to understand what I mean.
Battlefield V

Developer DICE absolutely nails it when it comes to delivering top-notch graphical fidelity in their Battlefield games. Battlefield V offers an experience that is set in the World War II era and tops it all off with incredibly photorealistic graphics.

Although Assassin's Creed Odyssey feels and plays like its predecessor, Assassin's Creed Origins, the team behind Odyssey has pushed limits when it comes to delivering a photorealistic experience. Even to this day, many gamers consider Shadow of the Tomb Raider a graphical marvel.
God of War
God of War not only knocked the socks off the God of War fanbase, but also the entire gaming community as well. Santa Monica Studio has done a phenomenal job in creating a photorealistic and cinematic experience for God of War. As they say, the devil is in the details and God of War proves what the metaphor means. If you pay close attention to some of the intricate details in God of War, you'll find Kratos' beard reacting to the wind, his veins popping out when activating the Spartan Rage and also the finest details within the game's world. God of War is truly an testament to great art, story telling, and gameplay that you shouldn't miss out on.
