IO Interactive's "007 First Light" has some interesting announcements for Xbox users that will surely be a massive delight for fans looking to buy and play it on Microsoft's gaming console platform.

'007 First Light' Shares Exciting News For Xbox Users

The recent Xbox Partner Preview that featured "007 First Light" revealed that the game will see a massive perk on the Xbox platform as it will add support to Xbox Play Anywhere, according to ComicBook Gaming.

The Xbox Play Anywhere program has been lauded for its wide interoperability, which allows players to purchase a game via the Xbox console platform and have it available to play on PC or other platforms.

This also includes the handhelds that support the Xbox app in its ecosystem, particularly the latest collaboration with ASUS, the Xbox ROG Ally, and the Xbox ROG Ally X.

With Xbox Play Anywhere, users may purchase only one copy of "007 First Light" via PC or the Xbox console and play on different platforms, but it brings more than just that. This is because Xbox Play Anywhere also carries over progress from one console to another, including accomplishments, as long as they are playing on a supported platform.

Through this support, "007 First Light" players on Xbox could enjoy a multi-platform experience that would allow them to play continuously despite hopping from one console to another, as long as they use the same Xbox account.

What to Expect from '007 First Light'

IO Interactive's "007 First Light" is set to feature a young James Bond in his early years in the service as part of the British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) or the fictional MI6 agency.

This is the first game that features an origin story for James Bond, particularly as the iconic British super spy has always been the debonair, sophisticated, and highly experienced agent in his depictions.

It has always been a big deal who will get to play the next James Bond, particularly as it is a rite of passage between actors, including the likes of Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, and more.

It became a big deal when "007 First Light" was announced, especially as one particular speculated actor, Patrick Gibson, greatly resembles the Bond in the game. He then confirmed that he did some work on a video game.

"007 First Light" is coming by March next year.
