English indie rock band Glass Animals has partnered with Xbox for a custom Pac-Man World Re-Pac Xbox Series S giveaway. It's not your typical Xbox since it has fun additions inspired by the band, like the replica overall worn by vocalist Dave Bayley in celebration of Xbox’s Summer of Spotlight. The contest started yesterday, August 30, and is set to end on September 19.

There's no question that this is a truly unique collaboration. However, for the band, it only represents the culmination of a dream. The band has long been a fan of Xbox and the Pac-Man series. In fact, the band used the imagery from the game in a series of creative campaigns, including live performances of Tangerine over the years.

It was also a few weeks back when Glass Animals released their special Dreamland: Real Life Edition. This was part of the second anniversary of their critically acclaimed album Dreamland. Dreamland: Real Life Edition is now available in all formats with a limited-edition glow-in-the-dark vinyl, which features a new colorway artwork.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a remastered and enhanced version of one of the most popular games of the franchise. The original PAC-MAN WORLD introduced the series to modern gaming as a 3D action platformer. This new version makes full use of the current gaming hardware to offer a full-screen and HD-enhanced version of the original game. There are also improvements added for more intuitive gameplay. Released on August 26, the game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
