Bandai Namco is hosting the Pac-Man Celebration 2022 at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate the video game icon and its 42 years of history. This invite-only event is a way for fans to get together and enjoy a night of themed food and cocktails, gift bags, photo-ops, and games, to name a few. Speaking of games, one of the features of the event is the release of the first playable demo for Pac-Man World Re-Pac.
The Pac-Man Celebration 2022 is scheduled this Thursday, July 21, at 10:00 p.m. EDT, at the Comic-Con Museum. The San Diego Comic-Con Museum is located in Balboa Park at 2131 Pan American Plaza, two miles from the San Diego Convention Center.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a remastered and enhanced version of one of the most popular games of the franchise. The original PAC-MAN WORLD introduced the series to modern gaming as a 3D action platformer. This new version makes full use of the current gaming hardware to offer a full-screen version, a HD-enhanced one at that, of the original game. There are also improvements added for more intuitive gameplay.
Guests with tickets can enjoy the demo stations for Pac-Man World Re-Pac at the Comic-Con Museum; they will be there for the entire duration of the San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Meanwhile, Pac-Man is making appearances on July 23 and July 24 at the Comic-Con Museum.
In addition to the playable demo, the event also gives fans access to the Pac-Man Exhibit at the Comic-Con Museum. Those who can attend can look forward to complimentary refreshments, along with giveaways and gift bags. There’s also a chance to have a photo with none other than Pac-Man himself.

Main Convention
While guests at the Pac-Man Celebration 2022 can have a first crack at the demo, other fans need not worry. They’ll also get the chance to play the demo at the San Diego Convention Center at the Nanoblock booth #135; Pac-Man is also going to drop by that booth on July 22.
