Microsoft has revealed the upcoming titles coming to the Xbox Game Pass August 2022 lineup, and this one adds several titles that are sure to appeal to fans of open-world shooters, weird racing games, cooking sims, economic RTS titles, and wannabe principals who want to manage their own school. Seven games have been unveiled, but Microsoft also revealed five that will be leaving the Game Pass service soon.
Xbox Game Pass August 2022
Ghost Recon Wildlands (Cloud, Console, and PC) (Available today) – Ubisoft’s reinvention of the long-running Ghost Recon series finds a US Special Forces team deep within Bolivia to stop the Santa Blanca Cartel and ultimately save the country from collapse. Ghost Recon Wildlands can be played solo or with friends, and is also available on PlayStation and PC via Steam.
Shenzhen I/O (PC) (ID@Xbox) (coming August 4) – Experience the life of a programmer in this open-ended puzzle game, featuring circuit boards, microcontrollers, logic gate, LCD screens, and a surprisingly neat Solitaire minigame, all set in the heart of electronics manufacturing – Shenzhen. Shenzhen I/O is also available on PC via Steam.
Turbo Golf Racing (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) (ID@Xbox) (coming August 4) (Day One) – Race your friends or other people in this weird and wacky arcade sports racer as you drive various vehicles while pushing oversized golf balls to the finish line. Turbo Golf Racing is a Day One Game Pass early access release, and will also be available on PC via Steam.
Two Point Campus (Cloud, Console, and PC) (coming August 9) (Day One) – Manage an academic institution in this spinoff of Two Point Hospital and build the university of your dreams with all sorts of weird and seemingly unrealistic courses. Train students to be chivalrous with the Knight school, or develop young adults to be actual clowns – Two Point Campus is a Day One Game Pass release and is also releasing on PC via Steam.
