Playground Games shared a post on their official X account that addressed the massive leak of its upcoming game, "Forza Horizon 6," as a pirated build of the racing title has spread widely online.
The studio acknowledges that there is a leaked build of the game online, saying that it was obtained before its release and is not a pre-load issue on its part.
Given this, Playground Games issued a warning against players who will play this leaked version of the game, saying that they are "taking a strict enforcement action" against all individuals who will access the build.
The grave warning from Playground Games comes after a player shared online that they had received a massive ban from the studio for accessing the leaked build. However, many are questioning the authenticity of this, as it reflected an 8,000-year ban for the player, which will be in effect until December 31, 9999.
'Forza Horizon 6' Is Releasing Next Week
Playground Games devs are now encouraging players to wait for a little while for the release of the game, which is slated for Tuesday, May 19.
That said, for those who purchased the "Forza Horizon 6" Premium Edition, their waiting time is shortened by as much as four days as their early access privileges begin by Friday, May 15.
However, it may not be an option for many as it is $50 more expensive than the base game, which already costs $69.99, which means that the Premium Edition costs $119.99.
The game offers an exclusive preorder freebie of a Ferrari J50, which they can redeem in-game once it officially launches next week.
