A new trailer for WWE 2K17 debuted on Sunday night during the organization’s Clash of Champions event, but those hoping for another look at WWE 2K17 might be disappointed by the lack of gameplay in the video. On the plus side, the trailer treats fans to one last appearance from the recently departed Alberto Del Rio, so the new WWE 2K17 trailer isn’t a total loss.

We’re only a couple of weeks away from the debut of WWE 2K17 and, if you’ve been following the franchise for more than a few months, it probably won’t come as much of a shock that we’ve still barely seen anything from this year’s game. Sure, 2K published a couple of early trailers , each featuring brief snippets of action from WWE 2K17 , but (as usual) there’s no extended gameplay to help fans make an informed purchasing decision. And nothing has changed with the publisher’s latest promotional clip,

Instead of meaningful footage, we get a quick tour of the fictitious Suplex City and cameos from a handful of Superstars from the WWE 2K17 roster. No new information about the game or the features we can expect to see at/after launch. To be honest, we’re not sure what 2K was trying to accomplish with brief appearances from Sheamus, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar (among others). But at this point maybe we should just be happy the game is out soon and we’ll be able to render our own judgment on WWE 2K17 .

For more on WWE 2K17 , take a few minutes to check out the game’s latest trailer, embedded at the top of this post, and/or revisit the gameplay footage that debuted earlier this month.
