Good news for those looking to test their combat skills in World of Warships. The four-team game mode Savage Battle is back. Fights started yesterday and run until April 14.

For those new to the game, here are the details of this mode:

  • The event unfolds on the Flooded City map.
  • Battles are fought between four teams, each with three ships. Players can fight either in a Division or solo.
  • At the start of the battle, all ships have no consumable charges.
    • Collect consumable charges from special zones.
    • Players can also get a charge for a random consumable every time they destroy an enemy ship.
  • The map is plagued by Wild Fire that encompasses the battle area.
    • The safe zone starts shrinking from the start of the battle.
    • Towards the end of the match, only a small portion of the map remains safe.
    • Ships gradually lose HP while they remain engulfed in Wild Fire.
    • In Savage Battle, all ships have reinforced bows.
    • When ramming enemy ships, players will take less damage while causing more.
  • The event is open to players who have reached Access Level 12.
  • Once the event is over and all ships have been removed from the accounts, any XP players have earned are transferred to I Orlan.

Now at the end of each battle, the amount of XP and Credits that players obtain depends on the overall score the team gets relative to others. So, the higher the placement, the more resources obtained.

Special Destroyers

For this game mode, each faction has three destroyers that have been specifically modified. The characteristics of each subsequent ship in each faction outmatch those of the preceding ship. However, it also means that the better the ship, the more resources needed to service her.

To access the second ship in a faction, players need to earn 10,000 Base XP on the first one. To get the third one they need to earn another 10,000 Base XP on the second ship.

For this version of Savage Battle, 10 new achievements have been added:
