Attention Captains! It's time to show off those skills as Clan Battles are back in World of Warships. Season 17 is titled "Cayman" and runs from May 25 to July 11.
The title refers to a dangerous reptile that lives in lakes, rivers, and swamps of America. Caymans are nocturnal predators and typically stand at the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
What makes Clan Battles fun is that it's not only about what happens in individual battles but also general progress. Like the previous seasons, players who fight for a Clan in Co-op, Ranked, or Random Battle, and play a Tier VIII–X ship or supership get a set of three special Tier X ships for temporary use, which are the X Gearing, X Yamato, and X Zaō. That said, those who win fights have the chance to earn rewards, such as Steel, Coal, camouflages, special signals, and Clan Tokens. The more battles won, the more rewards earned.
Here are the basic rules of Clan Battles:

- 7 vs. 7 playing Tier X ships and superships.
- Rewards
- As much as 11,000 Steel and various other rewards.
- Maps and modes
- Sea of Fortune
- Tears of the Desert
- Mountain Range
- Neighbors
- Warrior's Path
- Loop
- Rules for all maps
- Fought in Domination mode.
- Number of Key Areas: 3
- Capture time: 30 seconds
- Scoring capture points: 3 points every 4 seconds
Restrictions
Before joining Clan Battles, there's something to keep in mind and these are the restrictions on the numbers of specific ships per team. The restrictions can be set to periods or for the whole season. For now, the restrictions placed on Season 17 are:
- Aircraft carriers are not allowed in battles.
- Players cannot enter battle playing X Petropavlovsk or X Kléber.
- No more than one battleship per team.
- No more than two superships per team.
- No more than three mercenaries per Division.
During Season 17, existing restrictions can be changed, or new restrictions added based on statistics.
Clan Treasury
At the end of the season, Clans that rank in the top 50 in the Global Rating get these rewards:
- Rank 1
- 25,000 Steel
- Rank 2
- 22,500 Steel
- Rank 3
- 20,000 Steel
- Rank 4
- 17,500 Steel
- Rank 5 to Rank 50
- 5,000 to 16,250 Steel
Clans unable to make it to the top 50 can still get rewards.
