Are you confident about your driving skills and have the competitive edge to win? If you answered yes to both questions, then give World Rally Championship 9 a try. Its latest DLC, the Rally Star, hopes to bring the game much closer to reality. This newest content is made possible in partnership with FIA and offers a new competitive mode known as the FIA Rally Star.
For those not familiar, FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) is the governing body for many of the world’s auto racing competitions like Formula One.
Under the FIA Rally Star, there’s a total of 12 online trials between February and August 2021. The first stage is open to drivers aged 17 to 26 years, and it's to be played using only the M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally3. The winners of each of these trials then get a chance to qualify for one of six continental finals.
Once the finals are done, seven of the best drivers, including at least one woman, get to be enrolled in the exclusive FIA training and practice program. Those who manage to move even further get to experience two seasons with the FIA Junior WRC.
Let us spell that out for you. You get to start in an online event and if you prove that you’re indeed skilled enough, you have the chance to drive an actual race car. That’s what they meant when they said they wanted to bring the game closer to reality.

In a press statement, FIA program manager Jérôme Roussel said that this new DLC is a chance to offer a challenge to sports fans around the world and discover the next big thing.
In addition to the competition, the new DLC also offers:

- Kenya
- Over 50 official teams and their livery from the:
- WRC
- WRC 2
- WRC 3
- Junior WRC
- Over 15 bonus cars that have left their mark on the history of the WRC.
- The brand-new Clubs Mode to create customized championships.
The FIA Rally Star DLC is offered at $9.99. World Rally Championship 9 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
