Witch on the Holy Night: Demo Now Available with Digital Release Set for December 8

Good news to those excited for the upcoming release of Witch on the Holy Night. A demo version is now available for download on the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store. If that’s not enough, you’ll be glad to know that the digital release of the game is this December 8, 2022. Meanwhile, a physical limited edition is releasing on January 27, 2023.

Witch on the Holy Night is going to be available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with the Digital Standard Edition priced at $39.99. The Physical Limited Edition is offered at $59.99 and it includes a special gift box illustrated by Koyama Hirokazu and reference material “Magician’s Basic Tune.”

Those on the PlayStation 4 also get the choice to have the Digital Deluxe Edition for $49.99. This is exclusive to the PlayStation platform and comes with a digital version of reference material “Magician’s Basic Tune.”

This upcoming release is the first for this fan-favorite visual novel to be offered to English-speaking audiences. Developed by Japanese studio Type Moon, the interest in this upcoming game is thanks to the success of Fate/Grand Order, released in the U.S. in 2017.

Witch on the Holy Night is set in 1980s Japan and tells the story of Aoko Aozaki as she tries to navigate the complex world of magecraft. Making this difficult is that she has to deal with everyday struggles of life as a high school student.
