The insane marketing campaign for Rage 2 continues, and this time it goes to another height that will actually make you do a serious double take.

It seems like Rage 2 is willing to embrace its full meme potential, what with the crazy promotions it’s been having. Just a week ago, Bethesda and Walmart Canada started offering a hilarious pre-order edition for the game based on the retailer's blunder of leaking the existence of Rage 2 way before its actual announcement on E3 2018. It’s this kind of creativity that raises awareness for your game in the most memorable way possible.

We’ve also seen Bethesda announced a real novelty collector’s item in the form of a neatly detailed, talking, and extremely handsome head named Ruckus the Crusher. This little guy is bundled with the Collector’s Edition of Rage 2, which also contains other goodies like a steelbook, a collector’s poster, some very cool and exclusive digital freebies and of course a copy of the game.

It seems that a talking animated head can still be topped in terms of craziness, and Rage 2 proved just that. Earlier today, the official Rage 2 Twitter account announced that it was going to give away a one-of-a-kind, completely customized Sega Dreamcast fully capable of playing Rage 2 to one very lucky winner. You can join in on this giveaway by just following the account and retweeting it, thereby spreading the message of Rage 2 among others.

Of course, the hardware itself is not really anything closely related to the Dreamcast. Only the casing seems to have been lifted from the Sega console, and of course the console is spray painted with a very tacky pink ‘A’ from the Rage logo design. Inside the casing is a custom PC fully capable of playing Rage 2¸ though Bethesda has not given details on what the actual specs are. The giveaway’s terms and conditions put the machine at somewhere around $590 US dollars, so I’m guessing it’s a modest mid-range machine. This promotion is set to end tomorrow, May 3, and the winner will be chosen on May 6, so be sure to follow and retweet for a chance to win this one-of-a-kind collector’s edition item.

Rage 2 is set to be released this May 14 on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
