Xur is back, Destiny fans!

This week, Xur can be found standing in Tower North

The first few weeks of 2017 haven’t exactly been eventful for the Destiny: Rise of Iron community. Following the conclusion of The Dawning, the annual holiday celebration introduced last year, longtime Destiny players haven’t had much reason to check in with the shared-world shooter. Thankfully, Xur continues to make his weekly appearances in the Tower (and The Reef), giving the Destiny community something to look forward to during each long work/school week. Granted, any/all hope surrounding the Agent of the Nine’s visits tends to disappear pretty shortly after his arrival. But the excitement among Destiny fans, when Xur’s inventory doesn’t suck, is palpable.

Last week, the Agent of the Nine disappointed Destiny players around the globe with his umpteenth listing of Young Ahamkara’s Spine and the Voidfang Vestments. Empyrean Bellicose is slightly less common, having been added to the game in Year 2 instead of Year 1, but even the weekly weapon (Bad Juju) was pretty underwhelming. This week's offering isn't perfect. But it does at least see a much more useful weapon, the MIDA Multi-Tool, return to the traveling merchant's storefront.

Here’s everything Xur is selling the Destiny community Jan. 20-22:

Helm of Inmost Light

  • Defense: 350
  • Intellect: 43
  • Strength: 39

ATS/8 Arachnid

  • Defense: 350
  • Intellect: 80

Obsidian Mind

  • Defense: 350
  • Intellect: 78

MIDA Multi-Tool

  • Attack: 350
  • Magazine: 21

Legacy Engram - Heavy Weapon

As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks! And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with green and blue contrails available this week, along with Motes of Light, Heavy Ammo Synthesis (in stacks of three and 10) and Glass Needles.

Destiny: Rise Of Iron is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.
