Xur is back with exotic gear, a Fated Engram, a weekly bounty, and a free Nightfall challenge card in tow. Bungie

It’s been a long week, but Xur is finally back on our radar. The tentacle-faced shop owner has returned with yet another set of exotic items and a Fated Engram if you have enough shards for it. He’s also offering another Invitation From The Nine weekly bounty which, like the ones before, reward players with a Powerful Gear drop, a new Lore entry, and shed a little bit of light on the enigma that is The Nine.

From April 12 to April 16, players can find Xur at the Tower, in the rear part of the Hangar. Refer to the image below to find out exactly where to find Xur and his bag of exotic goodies:

Since the latest updates to Destiny 2, Xur now has a chance to spawn with Year Two exotics in his shop. Prior to the update, Xur only sold Year One exotics, and Fated Engrams could only drop Year One exotic gear as well. Unfortunately, even though there’s now a chance for him to sell Year Two’s, this week’s stock includes only Year One exotics. Good luck on your Fated Engram though, as those now have a chance to roll a Year Two.

This week, Xur is selling the following items:

  • Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
  • Dunemarchers - Titan Leg Armor - 23 Legendary Shards
  • Lucky Pants - Hunter Leg Armor - 23 Legendary Shards
  • Starfire Protocol - Warlock Chest Armor - 23 Legendary Shards
  • Jade Rabbit - Scout Rifle - 29 Legendary Shards
  • Five of Swords - Nightfall Challenge Card - Free
  • Invitation From The Nine - 9 Legendary Shards

The Dunemarchers for Titans increase sprinting speed and add a chain-lightning mechanic to player melee attacks. Lucky Pants for Hunters improves Hand Cannon handling speed while replenishing stowed Hand Cannon magazines. Starfire Protocol for Warlocks give players an extra fusion grenade and adds bonus damage and grenade energy replenishment mechanics as well. This week’s Invitation From The Nine tasks players with completing the Garden World Strike on Mercury. Additionally, players must eliminate a number of Cabal, Vex, and Hive enemies to complete the bounty and earn their rewards.

Xur will be departing on April 16, so make sure you at least get your Fated Engram by then! Good luck with your RNG, guardian! Stay tuned next week for another guide on how to find Xur and what he’s selling, courtesy of all of us here at Player.One.
