War Thunder: Here's What's in Store for the January Pages of History

Complete the tasks and earn rewards. Gaijin Entertainment

A new month is here and that means new tasks available for War Thunder players, especially in Pages of History. For January, you're going to be placed in the middle of various theaters of war. There's going to be a total of eight tasks available and completing each one lets you get your hands on a trophy.

However, those able to complete all of the tasks get to have a unique player icon. For this month, it's all about the American reconnaissance pilot William Arthur Shomo. He was a pilot during the Battle of Luzon and during one of his flights, noticed that a squadron of Japanese fighters were escorting a bomber. Even though he was outnumbered, he went on the offensive and after six minutes managed to shoot down seven of the enemy aircraft. It was because of this feat that he was promoted to Major and awarded the Medal of Honor.

Trophy Reward

As mentioned, trophies are available to those able to complete each of the individual tasks. The trophies obtained are going to have one of these rewards:

  • 20-50% RP booster for 3 to 10 battles
  • 20-50% SL booster for 3 to 10 battles
  • 3-5 universal backup vehicles
  • 1 day of premium account
  • A random camouflage for ground vehicles

Tasks at Hand

What are the tasks? Here they are:

  • Operation Bodenplatte (January 1 to January 4)
  • Operation Nasr (January 4 to January 7)
  • Battle for Luzon (January 8 to January 11)
  • Operation Blackcock (January 12 to January 15)

  • Battle of Anzio (January 20 to January 23)
