The most frustrating part about Rosita’s storyline in The Walking Dead Season 7 is you know her actions will get someone killed.
Rosita is distraught over Abraham’s death. We understand that she’s angry and dealing with her grief. Not only did Abraham dump her in a brutal way, but she also had to watch him die before she had the chance to move on from the heartbreak.
We get it Rosita, life’s rough, but your meltdown could not come at a worse time for the group. We watched Rick go crazy after his wife Lori’s death. He kept seeing Lori around the prison, but, alas, Rick had Michonne to bring him back to reality. Right now, Tara is trying to talk sense into Rosita and failing at it, hard. The latest clip from the upcoming The Walking Dead Season 7 episode proves it. Check it out below.
Rosita doesn’t believe Rick will find the guns in time to get the Junkyard community to help them fight Negan. That’s fair. Guns are hard to come by. So, Rosita, what are you going to do? What do you have planned? The girl needs to be a little less spiteful and a little more helpful. We have our suspicions of what’s going to happen next.
We assume Rosita will sneak into the Savior compound despite people telling her not to go. Tara, Sasha or another one of Rick’s crew will follow Rosita into the Savior compound. They will get caught. Rosita slips away and the poor unfortunate soul accompanying her gets shot on sight. Rosita tries to kill Negan, and fails a second time. Rosita gets extremely depressed. Rosita does something stupid again and dies.
It’s really difficult to be sympathetic towards Rosita. We don’t know much about her life prior to the zombie apocalypse and her relationship with Abraham seemed superficial. Abraham was the only guy around to have sex with and she replaced him with Spencer shortly after. She’s taken Father Gabriel’s crown for most annoying character on the show. Rosita is causing unnecessary conflict; we hope we don’t have to see her go down the rabbit hole of destruction for much longer.
