Negan might be winning now, but it won’t stay this way forever. Whether it happens in The Walking Dead Season 7 or next season, Negan will get his, according to Andrew Lincoln.

Lincoln recently spoke to TheWrap about everyone’s hatred for Negan. Lincoln revealed Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, was a bit of a prankster on the set. The Negan role went to his head a bit, and Lincoln wasn’t having it at times. However, the tides will turn for Morgan/Negan and Lincoln will enjoy it when the time comes.

“I wasn’t good company in the first eight episodes,” Lincoln told TheWrap. “Alexandria was also not a good place for children. My language was pretty much like a sailor. He enjoys his role way too much, and he’s going to get his if you know what I’m saying.”

Before fans get too excited, it’s unlikely we’ll see the end of Negan any time soon. First, Rick must convince the other communities to rise up against Negan, which won’t be an easy task. Ezekiel doesn’t trust many people; while he’s willing to protect the Kingdom at all costs, he’s not one to start wars. The Hilltop will need a bit of convincing as well. We’re sure Gregory will do everything in his power to undercut Maggie.

Also, we can’t forget about the wildcard Tara is holding close to her chest: the Oceanside community. Tara promised she’d keep the community a secret, but Alexandria can’t defend themselves without weapons. The Oceanside community is well-stocked, so Tara might betray her new friend to get revenge against Negan.

Still, it’s too soon for The Walking Dead to head into the All Out War storyline. However, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Rick fire the first shot at the end of this season.
