The latest casting call for The Walking Dead could mean another villain will be introduced by the end of the season.

The Spoiling Dead (via ComicBook.com ) posted an alleged casting call which claimed the show was looking for an actress to play Brion, “an educated, pokerfaced leader who has a superior air and does not let his/her motives be known.” Brion is also described as confident, but doesn’t speak much or show emotion.

The only fits one comic book character: Alpha, the leader of The Whisperers. Rumors of the possible introduction of The Whisperers spread shortly after the release of The Walking Dead Season 7 trailer. In the teaser, Tara and Heath encountered a group of walkers that looked a little unusual than the dead we’ve seen before. Checkout the image of the strange walkers below.

Unfortunately, introducing the Whisperers this season wouldn’t make much sense. It seems like The Walking Dead Season 7 is all about Negan, and Alpha doesn’t come into play until after Rick and the other communities are a bit more established. Alpha serves as a reminder that not everyone wants a civilized society; some survivors are too far gone to ever live “normally” in the post apocalyptic world.

The Walking Dead comic creator Robert Kirkman also confirmed during San Diego Comic-Con 2016 the show has other storylines to get through before The Whisperers can be introduced.

The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres Oct. 23 on AMC. Do you think we’ll see Alpha and The Whisperers in The Walking Dead Season 7? Let us know in the comments section below.
