Goodbyes are tough, especially for The Walking Dead Season 7 cast and crew. Steven Yeun called The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere “bittersweet” during a recent interview with Variety.

Before you panic, Yeun didn’t confirm he’s leaving the show. You’ll have to wait for The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere to see who dies. The actor explained why it’s hard for actors to walk away from projects, but ultimately believes all good things come to an end.

“It’s always tough to see people exit the show. As an actor you come to terms that things might be ending for somebody. You go over all the things you experienced together and what a great time it was for everyone,” Yeun told Variety. “So that way, it’s beautifully terrible. It’s bittersweet.”

Yeun will definitely be missed if he is Negan’s victim. Glenn dies in the comic books, but that doesn’t mean he’ll die in the show. We’ve seen The Walking Dead TV series take many creative liberties with the source material. However, if Glenn doesn’t die, it’s possible Maggie or another one of your favorite characters will.

We’ve seen Yeun’s character Glenn go from follower to leader in his own right. Glenn always fought to survive. He started off as Rick’s runner, then found confidence in himself when he fell in love with Maggie. Glenn became the group’s protector and the positive force that held them together. Glenn never lost himself like Rick, Michonne, Abraham, Sasha, Eugene, Shane, Andrea, Carol, Morgan and Maggie did. But as Yeun said, you have to come to terms with things ending.

Catch The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres Oct. 23 on AMC to see if Glenn survives Negan’s twisted game of Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Mo.
