This week is actor Ross Marquand’s turn to mess with The Walking Dead fans. Marquand, who plays Aaron on the show, told Entertainment Weekly Radio the production didn’t tell the actors who died until the show began filming this year.

On a side note, the entire Walking Dead cast is set to make an appearance at New York Comic Con 2016. We kind of want one of The Walking Dead cast members to say, “Yeah, I knew who was gonna die at the end of Season 6. No big deal.”

Marquand, like other The Walking Dead cast members, went on to say fans should prepare themselves for an intense emotional reaction to the deaths in the Season 7 premiere.

“We’ve been really cognizant of the fans’ emotions,” Marquand told Entertainment Weekly Radio. “And it’s going to be an emotional episode. It’s going to be a great episode, but it’s going to be one that affects people in a very profound way. Whether your favorite character is Daryl or Rick or whoever, the death is going to really be brutal and it’s going to affect you in a very visceral way.”

It’s okay, y’all. We’ll provide support for you after The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere. The episode will be the equivalent to Game of Thrones ’ Red Wedding. There’s nothing you can do to prepare. You’re in for a lot of pain . Let’s just get it over with.

The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere airs Oct. 23 on AMC.
