We don’t ever want to hear the song ‘Easy Street’ again, and neither does Norman Reedus. It’s truly awful.

Reedus, who plays Daryl on The Walking Dead, described his hatred for the song during an interview with the U.K.’s Daily Express . The funny thing about the song is Reedus actually didn’t hear ‘Easy Street’ until the infamous episode premiered.

"You know, I didn't hear that song until the episode came out. We didn't hear that song while we were filming. We were just imagining a song. Then in the script, it was like a kids song, and that's what I expected it to be and then that 'Easy Street' came on and I was like, 'God this song sucks.' "

However, Dwight actor Austin Amelio probably hates it more than all of us. Amelio made an appearance on The Talking Dead where he talked about the song. People have started to play ‘Easy Street’ to troll him everywhere he goes. Fans of the show think it’s funny, but Amelio couldn’t hide his hatred for the song.

Unfortunately for Amelio, the show will probably continue to use the song. They played it again during an episode in Season 7 featuring Eugene. Unlike Daryl, Eugene didn’t experience the torture. Negan decided to take a different route with Eugene, which was to be nice to him. Eugene then played ‘Easy Street’ of his own free will, not knowing what the song meant for Daryl. Now Eugene may or may not be a Savior, depending on how you interpreted the episode.

What do you think about Daryl and Eugene’s situation? Do you think Daryl will seek revenge against Negan? Is Eugene actually a Savior? Let us know in the comments below. The Walking Dead Season 7 airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on AMC.
