The Walking Dead Creator Robert Kirkman knows how he wants his comics to end and it has nothing to do with the show.

Kirkman was recently a guest on Kevin Smith’s new AMC series Geeking Out where he discussed his vision for the comics. Kirkman wants to continue writing The Walking Dead comics even after AMC ends the show’s run on its network. Kirkman also refuses to tell anyone how he wants the comics to end because he doesn’t want AMC to spoil the ending. Check out the full clip below to hear what Kirkman had to say about the show’s ending.

As for what’s to come in The Walking Dead Season 7, Kirkman recently shared what fans should expect in the show during an interview with Entertainment Weekly . Kirkman explained Negan’s introduction will cause a lot of conflict in Rick’s group. Fear will cause some people to act in ways that may even go against Rick.

“It’ll introduce a new level of fear for these characters that hasn’t really been present since the first couple of seasons,” Kirkman told EW . “That fear’s going to affect them all in different ways, but it will be pushing them apart in a lot of different ways as well, so there’s going to be a lot of division in the group and a lot of conflict.”

With Negan’s introduction also comes a lot more interesting storylines. Fans will get to see the world open up in ways the show hasn’t explored before. We’ll see new communities and the formation of factions within the groups we see.
