The fast-paced "uncooperative" multiplayer shooter Vicious Circle is now available on Windows PC through Steam. Developed by Rooster Teeth, the game has four mercenaries fighting against each other as well as competing for loot versus a terrifying monster. Making the game even more exciting is that it features some of most notable voice talents of Rooster Teeth.
At the start of each round, one player is chosen to become a massive and unstoppable creature with the goal of killing all four mercenaries. On the other hand, the mercenaries can team up in order to survive since they are truly formidable when working together. When a mercenary goes down, it doesn’t automatically mean they are out. Dead mercenaries spawn beings known as Little Dippers. These allows players to possess the bodies of other mercenaries and get another shot at victory.
Vicious Circle only lets one player finish the game with the loot. To succeed, you may need to play dirty. For example, you can use your gadgets and the environment to mess with your opponents. You can suck the loot from under them or lock doors in order to slow them down. You can even trap them in rooms with the monster. Just remember that what you plan on doing to them, they may also be planning to do to you, so be prepared.
To celebrate the official launch of Vicious Circle, Rooster Teeth is hosting a livestream tomorrow, August 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EDT. You can view the livestream through Rooster Teeth’s website or the Let’s Play official YouTube site. The livestream will feature a variety of online talented divided into five teams, all fighting against each other.
Roadmap Released
In addition to the official launch, Vicious Circle also revealed its roadmap for Season 1 and 2. Season 1 is already live, and players can immediately start earning new skins, emotes, sprays, and many more. Season 2 meanwhile is slated to be released later this year, and offer a new monster and new mercenary. It also comes with new events and new gadgets. Players can also expect at least 80 unlockable cosmetics.
