Valorant Agent Guide: How To Use Raze

Valorant is a first-person shooter developed by Riot Games. Every agent in Valorant is unique and, if their abilities are mastered, can be very dangerous. That said, Raze is a really difficult agent to master. You need really good map knowledge and creativity for using her abilities. Raze is useful on every map, but she isn’t an agent that is mandatory to pick.

Raze is an agent that is mainly used to gather intel and frags. Her abilities might take a while to learn, but she is super fun to play once you master her. As Raze, you can jump around places using her Blast Pack and get some interesting kills. Raze has four special abilities: Paint Shells, Boom Bot, Blast Pack, and Showstopper.

Paint Shells:

Raze’s first ability is Paint Shells. Basically, this ability equips a cluster grenade. You have to aim and throw the grenade, and after the grenade reaches the ground it splits into pieces and deals a ton of damage to the opponents caught in the blast. The cluster grenades have a small range, so its best you use it to bait enemies to push you instead of taking damage from the grenades.

Boom Bot:

Raze’s second ability is Boom Bot. It equips a mechanical bot that explodes when locked onto a target. Once you deploy the bot, it will move forward and lock onto an enemy. The explosion from the Boom Bot deals tons of damage if the enemy gets hit, but you just have to shoot the bot a few times to destroy it.

Blast Pack:

Raze’s third ability is Blast Pack. This ability grants you an item that's like a sticky grenade, which can stick to any surface. You can trigger the pack once the gadget is deployed, which deals a little damage to enemies. The main use of the Blast Pack is to use it on yourself to launch into the air and gather intel, maybe even killing enemies while in mid-air.

Showstopper:

Raze’s ultimate ability is Showstopper. This ability takes up six ultimate orbs to use and allows Raze to equip a rocket launcher. This rocket launcher deals a massive amount of damage on contact, it’s a one-shot kill to any opponent. You can use the rocket launcher if you know where enemies are stacked up to get multi-kills.
