They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but it seems like new tricks is all Naughty Dog wants to do! The team showed off its latest Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer gameplay at PAX East this weekend and revealed some cool changes it has made to its "Plunder" game mode.

For those that are unfamiliar, Plunder is essentially Uncharted's version of Capture the Flag, except the players must locate and bring back an idol instead of a flag. The Plunder game mode will be featured in the three maps we've previously seen in the Beta and Multiplayer Stress Test: Island, Madagascar City, and Rooftops.

Updates to Plunder are simple but effective. In the past, a player cannot traverse with an idol in hand. Now you can! Secondly, Plunder games have been reduced from "five vs. five" to "four vs. four." According to Uncharted 4 lead game designer Robert Cogburn via PlayStation Blog, the four vs. four setup is perfect with the new mechanics implemented to the game mode.

For the lucky gamers that will be attending PAX East this weekend, be sure to stop by the Naughty Dog booth and give Plunder on Uncharted 4 multiplayer a try!
