Amazon Luna owners can now play the games they’ve bought from Ubisoft for PC on the platform. This is made possible by the integration of Ubisoft Connect across devices and cloud technology.

There’s a bit of a catch though. To PC players, the titles must be available on Amazon Luna and they need to have an active Prime membership or Luna+ subscription. For those not familiar, Amazon Luna is a cloud gaming service that allows players to play on compatible devices without the need to download any files. So, you only need compatible devices and a reliable internet connection, which means it’s possible to play games on a Fire TV without an expensive console.

While it’s not required to have Ubisoft+ subscription to play games on Amazon Luna, those who have subscribed to Ubisoft+ multi-access plan can play Ubisoft+ titles on the cloud platform.

So far, many Ubisoft games available on Amazon Luna cover a wide range of exciting adventures, like the Assassin's Creed franchise where players track down and fight the Templar Order in various open worlds. The franchise includes Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed Origins. Those who want to overthrow regimes can check out Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, and Far Cry 6. The last one, Far Cry 6, recently received its newest expansion.

It's also worth noting that Ubisoft+ added indie games to its catalog. That should be exciting to indie game lovers once the titles become available on Amazon Luna.

Amazon Luna was first revealed in September 2020. In October 2020, Early Access became available but only to subscribers by invitation. During this phase, Amazon Luna featured around 100 different games for $5.99 per month. Amazon Luna supports keyboard and mouse, Xbox Wireless Controller, and DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers. But the cloud service has received mixed reviews with some praising the lower price point compared to similar services while criticism focused on the channel setup.
