The day is finally here with the arrival of two new bundles for Train Sim World 3. The first is the U.S. Passenger Bundle, priced at $59.99, and the second is the U.S. Freight Bundle, offered at $49.99. These bundles feature new content focused on American routes and locomotives.

Players can also get the US Super Bundle for $94.99. This one combines the two bundles into one awesome package.

The Freight Bundle

The U.S. Freight Bundle allows players to enjoy a selection of SD70ACe locomotives that arrives through the Union Pacific Heritage Collection to celebrate the defunct railroads of decades past. These locomotives can run in the six scenarios on the previously released Sherman Hill: Cheyenne – Laramie route. They also get an overhaul with the introduction of new weather and lighting features.

The bundle also has tribute liveries from Union Pacific’s real-world heritage fleet that honor well-known Fallen Flag railroads, from the “the Katy” and “Mo-Pac” to the Denver and Rio Grande and Southern Pacific. Their colors adorn six unique SD70ACe locomotives which can be operated in six new scenarios in-game.

The US Freight Bundle also comes with Cajon Pass: Barstow – San Bernardino which features BNSF ES44C4 and SD40-2 locomotives hauling mile-long freight through California. There's also the Training Center, important for new operators to learn and practice the skills required to move these leviathans of American railroading.

The Passenger Bundle

The highlight of this bundle is none other than the iconic Amtrak’s Acela, now available in-game as a locomotive add-on for the very first time. This high-speed passenger train celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2020 and continues to ferry passengers through the Northeast Corridor.

A section of the Northeast Corridor is the Northeast Corridor: New York - Trenton, which separately forms a new route for the game and includes NJ TRANSIT’s 7,100 horsepower ALP-46 running alongside the Acela.

The bundle also comes with the upgraded Northeast Corridor: Boston – Providence route, first made available in the Train Sim World 2: Rush Hour. There are also the American diesel-hauled passenger services courtesy of MBTA’s F40PC-3C locomotive and Cab Car capable of a top-speed of 90 miles-per-hour.

Train Sim World 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
