Three Strikes is Back in Apex Legends with the Urban Assault Collection Event

Get ready to fight. Respawn

Attention to all legends out there! It's time to prepare for an all-out Urban Assault! Three Strikes is back in Apex Legends and that means you'll have to bring out that competitive to earn point, climb the leaderboards, and of course, get your hands on those rewards.

The thing is, the Three Strikes LTM isn't simply returning but also bringing with it some changes. These include the revive time being lowered to 2.0s and players revive with 100% health and 0% shields. There's also a new minimum guaranteed loot system where you get to respawn with competitive version of your loadout and inventory.

For those new to the game, this particular LTM lets players revive faster and gives invincibility when downed. In addition, there are three shots at being the last squad standing. Players are only eliminated when the entire squad is wiped. When that happens, you lose a strike and respawn one POI away from all the gear which was equipped at the time the squad was wiped. These include:

  • Armor and EVO progression
  • Weapons and attachments (except for mythic weapons)
  • Ammo, ordinance, and consumables

Items and Rewards

During the urban Assault event, you get to unlock 24 street-smart limited-time cosmetics along with some Legendary skins for some of the legends. All of the 24 items are going to be available in exchange for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals and in Urban Assault Event Apex Packs.

Those able to unlock all of the items before the event ends get to receive Octane's Prestige Skin which is "Apex Riptide." There's also the Skydive Trail and Finisher.

That's not all since you can also earn as much as 1,400 points per day to work towards different rewards along the Urban Assault tracker. Challenges refresh daily and all challenges stack with the Battle Pass. This should let you complete multiple challenges at once.

Apex Rumble

All players are invited to try out a new way to compete with the Apex Rumble Beta. This new asynchronous tournament system lets players test their skills against the competition while at the same time earn points to climb the leaderboards against other similarly skilled competitors. Points are awarded for the placement, kills, assists, and damage. Once Apex Rumble concludes, rewards are delivered based on the overall placement.
