More than a dozen new Tekken 7 screenshots are out this week, revealed during the business portion of the 2016 Tokyo Game Show, featuring a collection of new and veteran fighters we can expect to see on the Tekken 7 roster when the game debuts in 2017. Sadly, there weren’t any new plot details included with the latest round of promotional media.

The new screenshots feature a variety of characters from the Tekken 7 roster, including familiar faces like Kazumi and Heihachi, but the bulk of the images focus on combatants we’re meeting for the first time in the series’ next entry. There are new images of Claudio, Gigas, Katarina and Lucky Chloe, just to name a few, all of whom make a pretty convincing argument that Tekken 7 will easily be the best looking game in the franchise. We even get another look at Akuma, who isn’t technically a new character, as any longtime Street Fighter fan already knows, but will be making his franchise debut in Tekken 7.

For a closer look at Tekken 7, take a few minutes to watch the Bob and Master Raven trailers published during EVO 2016 and/or check out the image gallery at the top of this post. Then head down to the comments section and share your current impressions of Tekken 7 during the ongoing wait for the fighting game’s North American debut.

Tekken 7 is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The final entry in the Mishima saga is expected to debut sometime next year.
