A new update has been launched for Team Fortress 2. It doesn’t offer new content, but it does bring some much-needed bug fixes and improvements to some maps introduced by the Scream Fortress XIII update.

Before the Halloween-themed content, some changes were implemented in the Mann vs. Machine game mode. The developers added some checks that would prevent invalid .pop files from loading in the game. For those who do not know, these files are optional and only added if you want to change what particular robot classes you want to spawn on the battlefield, along with other related parameters.

Now, when it comes to the Scream Fortress content, the Erebus map has improved clipping. This should prevent users from “popping out” in certain areas on the map. In addition, the RED team will now spawn on the second stage whenever the first point is captured by the other team.

For Farmageddon, the devs made the lighting in some places brighter. The announcer is updated as well. Now they are more audible than before.

The community-made King of the Hill map, Sinthetic, has not only received some minor changes to its lighting, but it has also gained a critical fix that prevents teleporters from trapping people outside of the map.
