'Talk Obama To Me' Website Lets You Control What POTUS Says Through Mashup Clips

If you ever wanted to control what President Obama says, or have him bust out in some Taylor Swift lyrics, your chance has arrived. A website called “Talk Obama To Me,” created by Ed King, allows you to do exactly that: have the POTUS say whatever your heart desires.

Simply visit the website, type a word or string of text in the box, and click the “Talk!” button. This will generate a mashup of President Obama saying the selected text. The mashup is composed of snippets of his public appearances, speeches and interviews.

Should a word not exist in the Obama public appearance dictionary, like the word “serendipity,” then it will combine two clips to phonetically create the clip. And if the word is uncommon or difficult, like the name of our Multimedia Producer Zulai, then users will be greeted with a gray box and the text: “No video with supported format and MME type found.”
