The crossover between Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus is now live. New content arrives in both games courtesy of a free update. Players in Tales of Arise can enjoy Scarlet Nexus -themed content.
For example, Yuito Sumeragi of Scarlet Nexus has a weapon called Myoho Muramasa Replica. In this crossover, that same weapon can now be used by none other than Alphen. Players can also enjoy the attachments “Handmade Hair Clip Replica” and “Baki.” The collaboration also has “Incompatible Thoughts” from the Scarlet Nexus soundtrack added as BGM.
Tales of Arise was released in September 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is set in the medieval world of Dahna and the advanced world of Rena. For a long time, the people of Dahna had considered Rena as a work of the righteous and the divine. The truth however is that Rena has actually been ruling over Dhana and pillaging its resources.
The Other Game
In most crossovers, it’s one game making its presence felt in another. This one is different since Scarlet Nexus players can also enjoy Tales of Arise -themed. For instance, there is the Blazing Sword which can be used by Yuito. Players can also enjoy the Owlet Doll and Broken Iron Mask attachments. Finally, Scarlet Nexus players can enjoy BGM from Tales of Arise.
Free Update Version 1.08 isn’t just about the crossover. It also introduces to Scarlet Nexus a new gameplay setting called “Very Easy.” This setting is a good option for those who just want to enjoy the story or want to finish battles without ever needing any assist items.
Scarlet Nexus was released in June 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S. The game puts players in the role of either Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall. They are members of the group known as the Other Suppression Force (OSF) and are tasked to defend New Himuka against creatures known as the Others. Besides having short-range weapons, the two also have the ability of psychokinesis, which allows them to throw objects and debris at hostile enemies.
