Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Reveals Expansion Pass

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town announced that once the game goes live, a DLC is coming out afterward. It’s going to offer new content that includes new areas to explore, new outfits to wear, and even new characters to get acquainted with.

Even before this news, the game had already revealed what players can expect. Olive Town is filled with townspeople, including potential life partners or marriage prospects, which players can meet.

Players who buy the Expansion Pass early can get these costume sets once the game is officially launched:

• Pete and Claire’s Overalls costumes from Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.
• Yuto and Naomi’s Hoodies costumes from Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.
• Henry and Holly’s Western Attire costumes from Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns.

For the Expansion Pass itself, there’s different content to be released over different months, which are:

• Part 1 – April 2021
  • Animal Attire costumes for the protagonists and marriage candidates.
  • Olive Town Mystery Files sub-scenario.
    • This is the first mystery scenario of the game and has players assist Mikey and Cindy learn more about what’s causing the different incidents happening in town.
• Part 2 – May 2021
  • Windswept Falls Expansion Pack.
    • Offers a brand-new area home to four characters from a past entry on the Nintendo 3DS system. This includes two marriage candidates.
• Part 3 – June 2021
  • School Uniforms costume set for the protagonists and marriage candidates.
  • Terracotta Oasis Expansion Pack
    • Discover an exotic oasis home to four characters from Nintendo 3DS version of the game.
    • Includes two marriage candidates.
• Part 4 – July 2021
  • Yukata Set costumes for the protagonists and marriage candidates.
  • The Legendary Sprite Dance sub-scenario.
• Part 5 – August 2021
  • Twilight Isle Expansion Pack
    • Get to sail on a new island and meet four characters from Trio of Towns.
    • Includes two marriage candidates.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is set to be released on March 23, available for $49.99. The Premium Edition is offered at $59.99 with the addition of the 2.5” by 4” adorable pocket plushie of title mascot Buffy the buffalo, along with the 13.5” x 24” cloth poster that features the full key illustration for the game.
