Stellar Warfare: November 5 Update Adds New Heavy Carrier and Weaponry

Developers from Tense Games have launched a new update for Stellar Warfare that brings improvements and bug fixes, specifically to the Ship Selector and the AI targeting systems. More weaponry has also been added to some ships.

One notable thing in this update is the addition of a heavy carrier called The Hive. Another is the new passive defense system against fighters and bombers called the Iron Dome. And lastly, an option for you to look at unlocked ships, thanks to the new preview feature.

Plus, an alternative ship selector has been included in this update. The developers noted that this is part of making the ship editor more intuitive in the future.

Some ships have been outfitted with anti-fighter and anti-bomber weaponry, such as the Cruiser, Corisant, and Manta.

If you want to play Stellar Warfare with others but having trouble finding them, the latest update should make you happy. There are now additional Discord buttons to invite other people to play with you. So, you won’t have to painstakingly wait until the system finds enough players to start the session.

  • Working on scaling for 1366x766 resolution scaling of the in-game tooltip. Already tested it on 4k, and it works perfectly there. Will check the smaller sizes now. This will hopefully ensure that tooltips are readable for everyone and wrap up the GUI scaling fixes
  • Testing ship editor on small resolution also works
  • Lowered the overall difficulty a bit. AI now only gets a damage boost above difficulty 35
