A new month has started, and everyone can enjoy new in-game events. For May, Star Wars: The Old Republic is offering five events. The first is the Double XP Event which starts today until May 10. For the duration of the event, players earn Double XP and Double Valor. There's also a 50% off collection unlock sale happening.
Before we look into the other in-game events, let's pause for a while and see what the game is offering for Star Wars Day, which is May 4. Players who log in to the game anytime between May 3 and May 10 can get their own mini-pet in the orange P1-XL droid. This droid is sure to follow them in their adventures, and with the boxy chassis and high-visibility paint, it's more than guaranteed that they won't lose sight of him.
Moving on to the other in-game events, Pirate Incursion also starts today and needs players to be at least Level 20. For this month, the featured rewards are:
- Nova Blade and Dantooine Homesteader Armor Sets
- Ugnaught Companion
- Walker Mount
- Kath Hound Mount
- Kath Hound Mini-pet
- Dantooine-inspired Stronghold Decorations
Get Those Bounties
Bounty Contract Week starts May 17 and ends May 24. It requires players to be at least Level 15. During this period, the Bounty Brokers Association is giving everyone the chance to take on their dangerous contracts. It's a good opportunity not only for seasoned hunters but even for rookies.
For the duration of the event, players can sign up for one standard Henchman contract and one high profile Kingpin Contract each day. To unlock Kingpin missions, which offer bigger loot, players need to complete five standard contracts. Featured rewards are:
- Reputation with the Bounty Brokers Association
- Bounty Tracker’s Armor Set and Contract Hunter’s Armor Set
- Assassin’s Bowcaster and Elite Tracker’s Bowcaster weapons
- Lobelot, Swamp Kell Drake, and Drink Server Probe Mini-pets
- BH-7X Custom Hunter Mount
Time to Race
Those looking for adrenaline rush can join The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. It starts May 31 and ends June 7 with players needing to be at least Level 20 to join. Players are invited to take on dangerous challenge courses, show off their piloting skills, and flaunt those souped-up swoop bikes. Featured rewards are:
- Swoop Rally Mounts (regular and gold versions)
- Swoop Gang Outfits
- Promotion Droid Mini-pets
- Various Stronghold Decorations
