'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Plot: Is Finn Paralyzed From The Waist Down In 'Episode 8'?

What’s nice about these Josh Gad / Daisy Ridley videos from the set of Murder on the Orient Express is the acting. Daisy Ridley plays genuinely aggrieved, giving it a dry flavor and undercurrent of pissiness in contrast to most on-set viral videos, typically overstuffed with jollity. For some reason, convincing us that all the actors did the movie entirely for funsies and feel-goods has become an essential part of the blockbuster marketing playbook. So, even if they’re acting, it’s fun to see two actors be dicks to each other.

But no, Ridley does not answer any of Gad’s questions about the plot of Star Wars: Episode 8 The Last Jedi.

While there may not be any reveals, Gad poses one intriguing question. Sure, everyone wants to know who Rey’s parents are, but the fate of Finn has been under-discussed among all the questions surrounding the recently revealed subtitle, The Last Jedi.

It’s true, Finn gets wrecked in The Force Awakens when Kylo Ren sliced him right up the spine. As far as warrantless speculation goes, this is a lot better than all the dumb Snoke theories floating around. If Finn is paralyzed, Lucasfilm won’t be able to hide it until Episode 8’s Dec. 15 release date. Where’s our trailer, Disney?
