Star Trek Online Releases Its Newest Season With House Shattered

Star Trek Online announced that its new season, House Shattered, is now available for the PC. House Shattered continues the Klingon War while also introducing a new five-player Task Force Operation that’s inspired by Star Trek: Picard. The new season also revamps the four missions of the Warzone Klingon Story arc plus launches a Special Event which lets Captains earn credit to get all-new rewards.

If you’re a console player, not to worry. Versions of House Shattered for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are set to be released on January 12, 2021.

House Shattered follows House Divided, with both being part of the Year of the Klingon. The story of the new season sees captains being marked as enemies of the Klingon Empire. Players need to seek refuge on Nimbus with Klingon Captain Adet’Pa. On the run as well are General Martok and J’ula, the sister of T’Kuvma. Meanwhile, the matriarch general of the Klingon, Aakar, has teamed up with J’Mpok in hunting players down with stolen Mycelial weaponry. Players need to find a way to resolve everything without taking sides.

Here are the features of the game:

• Brand New Episode
  • The new episode is titled “Partisans” and as mentioned, players need to look for Captain Adet’Pa and the Nimbus in order to put a stop to J’mpok and Aakar.
• New Task Force Operation
  • This latest update introduces the Synth Wave.
    • This is a five-player space TFO which reenacts the deadly Synth attack on Mars in 2385.
    • This is the same attack seen in Star Trek: Picard.
• The Widening Gyre Event
  • In the next month, Captains can play the newest episode and TFO in order to earn credits to getting the four-piece Imperial Rift Space Set.
• Klingon Remaster
  • Players get to experience a full revamp of four missions from the Warzone Klingon Story Arc.

    • The House Always Win
    • Mars
    • The Bringer of War and Alpha
• Experimental Ship Upgrade Token
  • New tokens are making their debut to Star Trek Online which give T6 and T5U starships a Universal Console Slot, an extra Device Slots, and an extra Starship Trait Slot These items can be earned through gameplay, or purchased from the Zen Store.
