Are you ready to ink your mark in Splatlands? You’d better be since Splatoon 3 is now available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch – OLED Model systems.

You can buy the game in the Nintendo eShop, My Nintendo Store, and select retailers for $59.99. Those who have extra can grab the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Splatoon 3 Edition, offered at $74.99. If that’s too high, opt for the Nintendo Switch Carrying Case for $24.99.

Splatoon 3 is a new sequel that can be enjoyed not only by long-time players but also by raw recruits. That’s because there are new features and modes, which have never been seen in a Splatoon game before. There are also fan-favorite modes reinvented in unique ways.

Overall, players can look forward to:

  • Ink With the Best of ’Em
    • Use your weapons to splash vivid ink all over the place. Coat opponents to take them (temporarily) out.
    • Change into Swim Form to dive into your own ink color and zoom where you please. This move can take you up walls, through fences, and even refill your ink tank.
    • The newly added Squid Roll and Squid Surge move help you get even messier.
  • A Colorful Arsenal
    • All weapon types from previous games are back, along with some new ones.
      • Flatten the competition with rollers.

    • Twelve stages are available with more to come in free post-launch updates.
  • Square Off in Splatfest Events
    • Cast your vote from one of three sides and gain clout for your Splatfest team in 4v4 Turf War battles.

    • Lay your tentacles on the line and engage in wild battles to climb the ranks in objective-based matches.

    • Playing this mode also prepares you for the chaos of multiplayer.
  • An Ocean of Drip
    • Show off those flashy fashion with new and expanded customization options and up your game by hitting up the shops of Splatsville.
    • Put on the latest outfits, celebrate with emotes, decorate your locker, and stay current with the seasonal catalog.
    • Look forward to collecting items from the in-game Season 1 catalog now. Each season lasts three months.
