Looks like there's another mobile game coming based on an animated film. This time it's Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run based on the upcoming Spies in Disguise film. The game offers an endless runner mobile gaming experience that sends players on top-secret missions in order to collect characters, gear, and more, to become the world’s best special agent. If you’re not familiar with the terms endless runner, think games like Temple Run.
In Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run, players recruit the lead characters Walter, Lance, and Marcy to help them unlock futuristic gadgets, amazing abilities, and fully tricked out spy vehicles. The goal is, of course, to be the best special agent in the world.
The mobile game also features opportunities for players to compete for weekly rewards by choosing to side with one of the super-secret spy agencies. There are also different game modes offering players numerous in-game elements to discover for a highly engaging and truly endless experience.
Denali Publishing President Sabaa Rehmani shared in a press statement that they are excited to introduce the action and adventure of Spies in Disguise to mobile gamers worldwide. She went on to say that they have "developed a dynamic, endless runner mobile experience for anyone that has ever dreamed of embarking on top-secret spy missions, and we can’t wait for players to experience it first-hand."
The game is set to be released for both the iOS and Android systems. Pre-registration is already being accepted.
Spies in Disguise is a computer-animated spy comedy film starring Will Smith, Tom Holland, and Rashida Jones. The film focuses on Lance Sterling, the world's most awesome spy, who protects the world from grave threats. In order to accomplish his missions, he often counts on Walter Beckett for his gadgets. However, an accident results in Sterling being turned into a pigeon and he now needs to find a way to save the world while being such a small bird. The film hits theaters on December 25.
