The turn-based RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister launched its Inner Strength DLC just recently and is now available on all platforms. The new downloadable content introduced three new classes, namely the Bard, Monk, and Warlock.

The Bard is one of the new classes added to Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Bards are pretty unique because they not only provide much-needed support to their team, but they can also take two spells from any class with their Magical Secrets ability, unlocked at Level 10.

Players who take the College of Hope subclass will turn Bards into bonafide healers. At Level 3, they will get Wandering Healer, which adds Prayer of Healing to their list of known spells. At Level 6, they can get Mass Healing Words, Revivify, and Words of Hope. The last one deserves a special mention because it improves the healing done by Bardic Inspiration to heavily injured allies that are below half of their max HP.

The Monk is another new class introduced to the game. Monks are expert martial artists and considered the fastest among all existing classes in Solasta. While their defense is not up to par with most front liners, their offense pretty much makes up for it.

Monks use the new Ki system where spending some Ki can unlock certain abilities. For instance, Monks can use Flurry of Blows to make two additional unarmed strikes by spending one Ki point and a bonus action.

Players who prefer spellcasters might want to try the new Warlock. Unlike other spellcasters in the game, Warlocks only have a few spell slots available, with the last one unlocked at Level 11.

However, that limitation is rectified as they regain their spells back after a short rest instead of a long repose. The spells are automatically upcasted to the highest level possible as well. So, even though Warlocks only have a few spells at their disposal, they are cast in the highest potential having reduced downtime compared to their other spellcasting counterparts.

And oh, Warlocks possess the Eldritch Blast too, which is considered the most powerful cantrip in the game.

The Inner Strength DLC is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC for $7.99.

So, what can you say about the new classes?
