Every week, Sims players stalk members of the dev team on Twitter in hopes of encountering an excited GIF -- Simmer code for ‘expect an announcement soon.’ But that’s not going to happen anymore. SimGuruDrake confirms excited GIFS will be replaced with an official announcement teaser. This applies to all DLC -- expansion packs, game packs and stuff packs.

So instead of an excited GIF signaling new info on the Sims 4: Bowling Stuff Pack, look out for an official announcement teaser and release date reveal early next week.

The bowling pack should be fun. Though on the surface the pack seems underwhelming, if done right, it could include some cool new clothing and retro build mode styles. Bowling is nothing new to the franchise. It was in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 . It’s a nice bar / restaurant alternative and a great group activity.

“I like bowling in The Sims because it can be more than just an object; bowling takes long enough that it's a group activity that you can plan a Sim's evening around with their friends or family as a fun outing. Plus there's an aesthetic style to bowling alleys that we haven't touched on yet in The Sims 4 which I think will be a nice addition to the game,” Sims Producer Graham Nardone said on Twitter last month .

The bowling stuff pack was announced in a quarterly teaser at the same time as Vampires. We can only hope bowling becomes a skill and has some cool interactions, clothes and objects.
